My beautiful wife whipped up some home made chicken fajitas served buffet style with all the fixins’.
It’s not the first time she’s made them.
For some strange reason.. *blegh*
They are noooooot sitting well.
*ick*
I just had to share this one. It struck me as funny as H-E double hockey sticks.

This is a very interesting (yet disturbing) article. It of course has to use the late Jack LaLanne as the subject of discontent.
The article claims that we as a society have labeled ‘fit’ as being ‘happy’ and that if you are not ‘fit’ you feel unhappy and because of the ‘craze’ that Jack LaLanne started you have some sort of ‘guilt’ for not being ‘happy’.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this article and the notion of being ‘guilted’ into thinking that unless you exercise and strive for better health the public views you as a failure of some sort??
That some how we ‘fit’ individuals are a part of some ‘cult-like’ organization that is attempting to ‘out’ anyone who won’t follow.
Hmm.
Seems a bit extreme thinking.
I for one promote healthy living for the reward of improved quality of life and to decrease the ‘pain’ that goes along with unhealthy choices. I for one don’t believe in the extremes of this thought process. Any level of improved health is good in my book.

All of the above are correctable as long as you are a patient patient!!!!
Yes, all are do to overuse, misuse and misalignment. Get the rehab folks to get you ‘straightened’ out - literally.
Glad to hear it’s all fixable and still able to make the run.
Good luck with rehab!

(OK. Who here has seen the movie Inception)
An idea.. is the most powerful thing a human can posses. It can change worlds and impact lives in a way that no other ‘thing’ can.
An Idea:
- creates change
- pushes limits
- requires you to step ‘outside the box’
- breaks ‘the ice’
- influences ebb and flow
- starts time
- stops time
- is virtually infinite
- is free of charge
- soft enough to catch but strong enough to brake
- is the key to almost all locked things
Why not make one today? Are you interested in having any of things touch your life? What’s stopping you?
I urge you to create the idea that starts breathing ‘life’ into your life.
What’s your idea?

Is it just me, or is there an influx of spam-like tumblrs showing up? I got some ‘following’ me and then I just clicked on a repost (from a non-spammer tumblr) on my dashboard… aaaaaaand when I clicked on the link to check out the website… or the pic… sorry (can’t remember)… I got thrown into the pop-up ping-pong. You know, you try to close out the web browser and it ‘urges’ you not to leave…
Hmm.
Thanks to my Norton 360… the attempted attack on my lil’ ole computer failed.
Be careful out there fellow fitblrs (hmm.. shall I refer to you as tumblrs.. or fitblrs?? - does it really matter? Yes, this is how my mind works)
Stay strong.
No. It does. Thanks. I’m just now starting my ‘search’.
Interesting question. Can’t say I have been asked that lately.
I have a total of 3. I think you can see the 2 that are on my upper arms in my progress pic page. My third tattoo is a dolphin on my right shoulder blade (on my back).
I keep saying I want a 4th - on my left shoulder blade to ‘balance’ me out.
heh heh.
I have a really good idea what I want, just probably wait till after I graduate from grad school.
Thanks for the question!
Whoah nelly. I got a lot of reflex responses on that one -quickly. http://tumblr.com/xo11difuxf
OK. I’ll admit, I never thought of the ‘creep’ factor. I guess since I’m not of that state of mind I would tend to not think in those terms.
In all fairness, I can understand your concern my fine fitblr ladies.
I guess it’s the whole ‘secrecy’ thang.
Or maybe it’s a ‘guy’ thang…
Who knows.
Either way, password protecting your progress might prevent the passerby creep, but in the end there will always be someone out there doing exactly what your trying to prevent - IMHO.
Maybe it’s the ‘revealing’ thang? Done appropriately in good taste and good form, there should be no concern. I’m not a woman, so yes, this is just a man’s opinion. But, ‘revealin’ your progress via a bathing suit or fitness wear (sports bra, etc) as opposed to your undergarments is not going to change how the ‘creep’ views your pictures?
I mean - how revealing are ya getting?? - can I pay the fee? let me in!
Sorry, had to break the tension there. I kid.. I kid..
:)
No harm intended, each woman has a right to her own privacy and preference.
Either way, it’s courageous and super-hero strong to put yourself ‘out there’ for the world to see. So I commend all of you who post progress pictures. I can remember during my journey, how I hated having anything ‘revealed’ let alone post pictures for people to see!
So my hats off to all of you - male or female.
Stay strong!
“desperation to be skinnier” that makes some people just LOSE their BRAIN !!
I think you hit the nail on the head gurl! I just wish the public would expend this kind of effort on healthy living instead of investing in crack-pot schemes that make so many false, empty, temporary promises.
No amount of information is going to sway the ‘desperate’ ones. Sad but true fact.
I guess we will continue to fight the good fight in the hopes that the tide will eventually turn.
I know, I know, it’s just my excuse. I hate the kitchen, I suck a anything that requires effort - LOL
I’m all about streamlining my meals - so that’s probably why eat oatmeal daily. Instant none the less.
Sad, but true.
I hear ya brother. I hear ya.
I don’t quite understand the concept?
You want to share your progress with the world… buuuuut not? You can see my progress but only if I let you.
I thought the point of sharing our ‘journey’ was to be held accountable and to have the support to get through the ‘thick’ and ‘thin’ of it all?
How does having a ‘super-secret’ blog aid in that journey?
Guess it’s just my issue really? Either share or don’t share.
Pressing on…
Pressing on…
Stay strong.
The most important question to ask on the job is not “What am I getting?” but rather “What am I becoming?” ~ Jim Rohn
Wow… great customer service huh?
