Ripped hands.. no more.

When I started CrossFit just shy of a year ago.. my hands always ripped during the high repped WOD’s. Heck they ripped no matter what rep range I was doing when it involved the pull up bar. I was told that you’re hands have to get ‘tough’ and that you need to take care of them outside of the gym.

I thought they were full of it……

Until I started to take care of my hands.

I tape them almost every workout. Maybe not a full hand wrap, but I still protect them when I know the reps are gonna be high. And most importantly I take care of them at home. Keep the calluses down with my pumice stone and keep them injury free by mending my wounds quickly and efficiently.

I must say.. (knock on wood).. I do not remember the last time I had a hand tear. )(*HAPPY DANCE*)
